Speaker Announcement: Jennifer Jones

As Volunteer Expo approaches quickly, we are delighted to announce CEO, coach and future Rotary International President Jennifer Jones will be speaking at Volunteer Expo.

Volunteer Expo are extremely excited to announce that joining our already outstanding line-up of speakers will be Jennifer Jones – Executive Coach, President & CEO of Media Street Productions Ltd, TEDx speaker and soon to be Rotary International’s first female President.

Rotary is one of the world’s leading membership and humanitarian service organisations, leading the way on range of society’s biggest issues including promoting peace, supporting education, protecting the environment and ending polio.

Jennifer Jones has been a dedicated member of Rotary since 1997 and has served Rotary as RI vice president, director, training leader, committee chair, moderator, and district governor before being historically elected as Rotary International’s next President.

Jennifer has big ideas for how to take Rotary forward, recently stating in a speech to Rotarians across the world: “Only when we live in shared experience like this can we create world peace through understanding. And that world can only manifest when we commit ourselves to equity, human rights, and fairly allocating community resources.”

Jennifer was chair of the board of governors of the University of Windsor and has been recognised for her service over the years with the YMCA Peace Medallion, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and Wayne State University’s Peacemaker of the Year Award.

Regarded as one of the most entertaining storytellers in the humanitarian sector, we can’t wait to hear her hint at her plans for the future during her appearance at Expo!

Jennifer is joining an already stacked line-up of speakers including England Rugby World Cup winner Ben Cohen and Holby City star Chizzy Akudolu.

Volunteer Expo Live is hosted by Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland, and is taking place at the NEC, Birmingham on 6th and 7th May 2022.
