Alison Hill, donor support and volunteer manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, says: “Volunteers donating their time means that the charity can allocate 94p of every £1.00 donated to the cause.
“Put simply, this means that more of the funds the charity raises go to our vitally important pre hospital emergency service, which has a positive impact on patient outcomes.”

“The charity’s values emulate my own and the fact that it operates a lifesaving service means it was an easy choice to make.
“What I love about volunteering for MAAC is the variety of events I can get involved in and the team I work with – I’ve learned so much from them. I also love that I can get involved with as much or as little as I want, meaning I can pursue other interests as well as spend time with friends and family.”
