Volunteers play a crucial and multi-faceted role in the GlobalGiving story. Without volunteers, whom we give training and regular communication to, we would not be able to serve our charity partners as well as we do.
There are three ways you as a partner, can volunteer with GlobalGiving.
GlobalGiving visits all of our charity partners in the field to ensure we are upholding best practice partnerships on the platform. There are typically 250 charity partners at any given time in the UK and Ireland.

We train a select few volunteers to go see our charities in person and conduct an extremely important evaluation.
GlobalGiving Field Volunteers have loved working with us. They get to go out into the world and learn about local charities, support in evaluating their work, and oversee real impact.

Instead of signing up to a large institutional charity to fundraise, you can choose from thousands of hyper-local projects across the global that are having a direct impact in their communities- all Gift Aid eligible through us.
As part of our employee engagement opportunities, you can volunteer your skills in a manner that a charity has directly requested.
We facilitate in-person workshops that connect teams from companies with our charity partners, to help them overcome strategic challenges and further their impact.

Launching this month our GlobalGiving Time platform will also allow companies to do this remotely. Volunteers can connect with charities online, offering their skills to support with a specific challenge.
So far, this has been anything from helping to build a website, to giving feedback on their recruitment process.
