Getting Here

Volunteer Expo is the national event to connect volunteers, organisations and the charity sector to harness the power of volunteering.

How to find us.

Volunteer Expo is taking place in Hall 2 at the NEC Birmingham. Right in the heart of the country, the venue couldn’t be easier to get to!

By car

The NEC is clearly signposted from all motorways and major routes, including the M42, M40 and M6.

Just type B40 1NT in to your satnav.

When you arrive at the NEC, keep your eyes out for the signs directing visits to Volunteer Expo. Once you’ve parked up in one of the 16,500 spaces, either jump on a free shuttle bus or take a walk along signposted footpaths.

By train

Birmingham International train station is just a short walk to the NEC – and you won’t even have to brave the elements to reach us.

Direct services to the station run all day, with Birmingham New Street, which is less than 15 minutes away, providing many connection options for those travelling from further afield.

Plus, Volunteer Expo visitors are entitled to 20% off Virgin Trains advanced tickets* when booking through the NEC website.

*Please note that this offer is available on all tickets booked up to and including 8th December 2019 when the operator of the West Coast Mainline service will change from Virgin Trains to First Trentialia. This offer will be reviewed by the NEC when the new operator takes over.

By bus or coach

From Birmingham Airport you can get to the NEC via the free air-rail link, which takes just 90 seconds and runs every two minutes.
